Look at the picture. Can you guess what's going on here?
The man on the left, dressed in trousers, an angry guy on the right and two identical tablets on a table with two glasses of water. The guy on the right is a cruel kidnapper who likes to take the lives of innocent people. He forces his victims to choose one of two tablets and swallow. Are these tablets the same? No, one of them is poisonous, and the other is harmless. What is the point in this, and why does he need this game?
It turns out that regardless of which pill the victim decides to swallow, the kidnapper will take the remainder. At the same time the victim still dies, and the criminal manages to survive! So, the question is, how is this possible? Why does the kidnapper always choose a harmless pill, even he chooses the latter?

The pills are not poisonous. You can notice two glasses on the table. The poison is in a glass of water that the victim must drink. Did you solve this puzzle yourself?
