Logic test 7
Two parachutes

The young man decided to seize the passenger liner. He ordered the pilot to fly to the airport, so that he transferred from him certain requirements: 10 millions and 2 parachutes.
When the plane landed, the offender was given what he demanded. After this, the invader ordered the pilot to lift the plane again into the sky.
After some time he put on a parachute, took a bag of money and jumped out of the plane. However, he did not take the second parachute with him, but left it on the plane.
Why did he need a second parachute?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer:
The invader needed two parachutes in order for the police to think that he was going to take a hostage. In addition, if he asked for one parachute, he could be given a faulty one, and given that he could take a hostage with him, he had to give two serviceable parachutes.
