Cuban Cocktail ''Daiquiri" ( Recipe)
For those who want to drink something ethnographic, especially since it is very, very nice to drink, because Cuban cocktails occupy a special place in the world of mixed drinks.
The main advantage of these cocktails, when they are properly prepared, is a lightness and at the same time an extraordinary aroma. Cuban cocktails are prepared with Cuban rum, usually white.
Ernest Hemingway was a big fan of sunny Cuba and its wonderful drinks. A frequent visitor to the Havana bar "La Floridita", the writer repeatedly ordered the cocktail "Daiquiri" from bartender Constante Ribalgua.
In his latest novel, Hemingway wrote: "Constant has prepared a daiquiri, a double, fresh, grand daiquiri, who did not have the taste of alcohol."
And here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 8/10 - white rum ''Havana Club'',
- 2/10 - ''Maraschino'' liqueur,
- Juice made of a quarter of the lime,
- 1 tea spoon - granulated sugar.
Steps:
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker, half full of ice.
- Beat for 15 seconds.
- Filter in a frozen cocktail glass.
