Cutting

Cutting plans included in the pattern.

This shorts patterns made without seam allowances. When cutting, add to cuts, 0.5-1 cm for seam processing.

Details calculation:

• front half of the short - 2 d;
• back half of the short - 2 d.

When cutting out the details of the shorts, you should take into account the allowance for the top of the shorts for the belt/waistband and make it - 6 cm. For processing the shorts waistline, an elastic ribbon, width of 2-3 cm needed.

If you have fabric with enough distance to put front and back, you can cut out details without side seams, in one piece.

Sewing steps

Make side seams. ( If you making curve edges stop on marks).

Run the step seams. Put the halves of the shorts into each other, face to face, and make a single line to sew the front and back middle seams. To iron seams if it needed.

Work on the upper belt allowance edge:

bend inside and stitch;

or cut with the overlock machine.

Bend 4 cm inside and stitch, leaving a hole for inserting the elastic ribbon.

Put the elastic ribbon inside the belt, sew the ends of the ribbon. The length of the ribbon loop in the finished form should match the waist around.

Bend the bottom hem and allowances along the edges of the cuts to the wrong side, tuck and pin. To iron all done.

Make a decorative seams on the edges of shorts. If you make a curve edges, you can stitch across.

As a variation, based on the selected fabric, the lower edges of the shorts can also be processed with an oblique strips that can be contrasted in color and serve as a decor.
