Sagittarius, December 14. Those born on this day often seem to others to be exhibitionists, but in fact they are very picky about when, how and under what circumstances to expose themselves or the fruits of their labor to the public.
Although many of them are sociable people and prefer to be in the beams of searchlights, they nevertheless like to retire in their own world, where only a very few are allowed to enter. Figuratively we can say that they live in a house with curtained windows, which they open only when they want it.
Thus, more often than not, they allow people to see what they are doing, much less often than what they think about and almost never allow people to know who they are. In fact, it turns out that the more you put on display, the more convenient it is to hide the most intimate.

Liquidator Day
A monument to the "Liquidators", erected near the Chernobyl. The table says: ''Those who saved the world''.
Every year since 2006, Ukraine celebrates the Day in honor of the participants in the response to the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
On April 26, 1986, one of the largest accidents at nuclear power plants occurred - the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
On November 30, 1986, the construction of the sarcophagus over the destroyed fourth power unit of the Chernobyl NPP was completed.
On December 14, the newspaper Pravda published a message that the state commission had commissioned a complex of protective structures.
In the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster took part people of various specialties - firefighters, military personnel, nuclear power engineers, design engineers, builders, simple workers and collective farmers (there were at least 90 thousand people). They extinguish the fire after the explosion, carried out work on the decontamination of contaminated areas, design and build the ''Shelter'' project, prepare and carry out a post-accident launch of the ChNPP units.
Specialists, who consider December 14 as their holiday, have long called this day Liquidator Day.
Back in 1986, liquidation participants came together to celebrate their first victory.
In 1994, the public organizations of Chernobyl victims of Ukraine sent a letter to the leaders of the state, in which they proposed to establish in the calendar a day for the participants in the liquidation of the Chernobyl disaster. Then the official decision was not made, but the liquidators themselves began to celebrate this date.
Later, the celebration was officially allowed, a guard of honor was provided from various security agencies, wreaths were laid from the heads of state, foreign embassies and public organizations, but there was no recognition of this day at the state level.
And only on November 10, 2006, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 945/2006, a memorable date was established - the Day of honoring participants in the aftermath of the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant (the second name of the holiday is “Liquidator Day”), which is annually celebrated on December 14.
In addition, April 26 marks the International Day of Remembrance for Victims of Radiation Accidents and Disasters, established by the UN General Assembly in 2003.
In the Folk Calendar
"Bring it to a Mind" Day
Earlier in Slavic there was a custom on this day to bring children to a teacher who was especially honored, considering his work to be extremely important and difficult. According to custom, the mother at that time was supposed to lament for her children, who were going to study, because the teaching was always accompanied by beating. Even on the first day of the meeting with the teacher, he had to reward each of the students with three symbolic hits with a whip. Children, however, each lesson had to begin with three greets to the teacher and were obliged to obey him without question.
As a reward for his labors, the father and mother offered the teacher a loaf of bread and a towel, into which they also tied money as payment for the lessons. But most of the time the classes were paid with food: the student's mother brought in a teacher a chicken, a basket of eggs, or a pot of buckwheat porridge.
