February 19,or Photoshop's Birthday and Whale's Day

Pisces, February 19. Sadly, those born on this day are not the most educated of people. The only way for them to develop politeness is to spend more time with their children, and not necessarily with their own. In addition, any social activity will tell them how to better take care of the needs of others.
Ultimately, however, those born on February 19 prefer to shut themselves off and go about their own business. For the most part, their goals are by no means public, but rather have to do with self-improvement. But when these impulsive natures hear the call for help, they will, no matter what, respond to it.
Since they are often reckless, they need to avoid too much activity.
Although we all tend to become our own enemies from time to time, those born on February 19 are most susceptible to this flaw (or dignity - depending on how you understand it).

The birthday of the subsequently became world famous and popular graphics editor Adobe Photoshop
February 19, 1990
Photoshop today - the norm for a professional photographer, a graphologist, a designer or just an amateur. And all began in the 1980s in the US, when the programmer Thomas Noll developed in 1987 a program for processing graphic images. The impetus to this work was the disappointment with the functionality of the first Macintosh computer bought by his father in 1984.
Thomas showed his development to his brother John Knoll - the most famous supervisor of special effects, familiar to us on such films as, for example, "Star Wars" and "Pirates of the Caribbean". John took great interest in the idea of his brother and even took part in its development, working on the extensions of the program. At that time, the brothers did not know that the program developed by Thomas would bring millions of profits.
The first joint program of the brothers was called "Display", and in 1988 they renamed it "ImagePro". Already at that time, this program was in many ways superior to its existing counterparts, although Thomas considered the work on the program to be incomplete. But this did not prevent the brothers, in the process of finding an investor, to sell about 200 copies of the product of the American company that manufactured scanners.
And soon there was a buyer - the company Adobe Systems decided to acquire the rights to the program. In 1989, the program received its modern name: Photoshop. And for some reason it is not known who came up with the name, and how it became official. Thomas Noll became the main developer of the program and continued working on it with his brother.
February 19, 1990, the first official version of the program Photoshop 1.0 was released. This date can be considered as the Birthday of Photoshop. Ahead of the new graphics editor was a big story, development, new versions, each of which expanded the functionality of the program and, as a consequence, the capabilities of users.

Whale's Day
Every year on February 19th, World Whale Day is celebrated around the world.
It was on this day in 1986 that the International Whale Commission imposed a ban on cruel and merciless whaling, which had a history of more than two hundred years. The object of the special passion of hunters was Ambergris - a special substance that is formed by sperm whales in the intestines. It was used by perfumers to give aroma stability, and it cost fabulous money. Pieces of Ambergris were worth their weight in gold, and given that their weight reached a dozen kilograms, the whale population was under threat. However, now whaling and whale meat trade is illegal. All over the world.
It should be noted that February 19 is considered the day of protection not only of whales, but also of all marine mammals.
