VirgoSeptember 4The dominant theme in the lives of those born on this day is the theme of creation.

It does not matter what success they have achieved in their careers, how the situation in their family develops or what their social status is, they are in one way or another close to issues related to the establishment of new structures and forms that could function successfully in practice.

Although many of the people born on this day have strong technical abilities, they shine more in planning and generating ideas.

The creation of branched systems that, for example, produce goods or offer services, is their strength.

The history of Kodak began in 1880, when George Eastman, a clerk of an insurance company, invented a method for making dry negative plates and created a company called ''Dry Plates of Eastman''. The desire to make the photo a mass hobby was the main stimulus to the development of the company and to the development of methods that make it possible to simplify the process of photography as much as possible.

In 1888, the company developed a completely new model of the camera, the predecessor of modern compact cameras, instead of a cumbersome set of camera, tripod, tent, chemicals, glass plates, various tanks... Simplicity of the model design and ease of use made this camera highly popular.

Anticipating the mass enthusiasm for photography, Eastman proposed to invent a name for the camera, which would sound the same in all languages, was bright, easily remembered and pronounced.

So the word "Kodak" was born, which was registered as a trademark in 1888. There were many beautiful theories about the origin of this word. But it turned out that Eastman just invented it. Soon it migrated to the name of the company, which in 1890 was renamed the Eastman Kodak Company.

In order to photograph was really easy and simple, it was important to facilitate the process of making photographs. For this purpose, a network of special photolaboratories was created, where it was possible to bring a camera with a film shot. The camera was recharged with a new film, and the photos were shown and printed.

So the motto of the Kodak company was born - "You press the button, we do the rest."

Holidays

International Taekwon-do Day

Taekwon-do - Korean martial art. A characteristic feature is the active use of legs in battle; and for both strikes and blocks.

23 years ago, on September 4, 1994, the International Olympic Committee at its session in Paris (France) announced the recognition of the WTF Taekwondo and the adoption of the official Olympic sport in 2000 at the Olympic Games in Sydney (Australia). This day was approved at the General Assembly in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) in 2006 and has since been celebrated as World Taekwondo Day.

Continuous development and improvement of business led to the development of a new concept - the creation of a network of photolaboratories, united by a common brand Kodak-Express. Established in 1980 in England, this network has developed rapidly and currently covers most countries in the world.
